@bugmenot123 answer is not correct you need to change code to otherwise you get wrong area you will have switched long,lat ....

        transformer = Transformer.from_crs(
            CRS_WGS_84,
            CRS(proj='aea',

                ),

        )
        transformer = Transformer.from_crs(
            CRS_WGS_84,
