Yes, it works well also for me, many thanks!!.. I do not know why the other day it was showing only one edge... just a small thing.... I had to shift a bit right (just a tab ) the command feature.setGeometry(QgsGeometry().fromPolylineXY([start, end])) , otherwise I was getting an error unexpected indent :-)
