I am a beginner with QGIS and Unreal Engine.

I have a shapefile of rivers.

What steps do I need to take to export the shapefile from QGIS so that it can be utilized in Unreal Engine and align properly with the landscape to create water bodies for the rivers?

It would be ideal to use only the standard tools available in both QGIS and Unreal Engine, without relying on any plugins.

  3. Biomes

I'm tryingWhat steps do I need to figure out howtake to process or export these shapefiles in a waythe shapefile from QGIS so that makes them usableit can be utilized in Unreal Engine and align properly with the landscape to create water bodies for a project I'm working on.the rivers? It would be great notideal to use any plugins if possible, and stick toonly the standard tools available in both QGIS and Unreal Engine.

Specifically, can you provide guidancewithout relying on: any plugins.

  • Any preprocessing steps needed in QGIS to prepare the data?
  • The best export format for Unreal Engine Compatibility?
  • How to handle the three different types of data (lakes, rivers, biomes) effectively?
