Feb 15, 2013 at 22:04 comment added KFP I just saw your answer and no, I haven't tried yet. It will take me some time to work on that, as I'm having a hard time with it. thanks.
Feb 15, 2013 at 22:02 comment added KFP Is the VB.NEt code written correctly? Would this work if I was using Visual VB.NET?
Feb 15, 2013 at 21:53 comment added blah238 Did you try get_Layer?
Feb 15, 2013 at 21:45 comment added blah238 It is not in the scope of this site to teach you how to program with ArcObjects. Write a focused, answerable question if you want a better answer.
Feb 15, 2013 at 21:32 comment added KFP Oh, I've spent alot of time in the ArcObjects SKE help, etc. Still confused and that's why I posted the question. It seems as though any search on questions regarding arcobjects ends up with people just refering them to ESRI's help which in my honest opinion is very convoluted. All I'm trying to do is to get a start and to build off of that. As I stated originally, I don't have the property listed within VS and I've tried adding the appropriate references.

Feb 15, 2013 at 21:18 comment added blah238 Can't hurt to try it. It will create a separate folder for the converted solution.
Feb 15, 2013 at 21:15 comment added KFP I'm wondering if that is going to be able to interpret proprietary things like ESRI's arcobjects?
