Window appear - in upper line choose your geotiff and under Advanced parameters, hit + sign to add command. Under Name enter word tfw, under Value enter yes. Specify output destination, name of the file and voila ... your geotiff file is converted to plain tiff and tfw part. Now you can edit tiff in image editor of your choice and has it geolocated as long as you don't change number of pixels in x or y axis | |

I just need to generate the tfw for the TIFs, in folders and subfolders. If it cant run on subfolders, thats fine. I can run it several times. Thanks | |

Note that generate_tfw does not work properly on rotated rasters, which fortunately are less common. This can be fixed with a bit of matrix multiplication.

the latter version wasn't corcerned to to correct place of the pixel (there was a bias)
