When having a raster which represents an array of values, for instance, elevation, I can generate a profile graph over a line I draw using the 3D Analyst toolbar.
A sample graph:
When generating a profile, you need to choose a 3D Analyst layer (elevation_1
in this case). I am looking for a way to generate one graph with two lines each of which would represent profile generated on another raster I have (precipitation_2
). So, if I have a raster representing another condition (precipitation) with values going between 1600 and 2600, I would like to get such a graph. Where the red line is getting values from the precipitation raster and the black one is getting values from the elevation raster.
It can also be a single graphics line or two lines I draw on top of the rasters (a second line is just a copy of the first one in the figure, but I draw it with an offset for illustration purposes).
I have been playing around with the properties of the graphs, but it seems to be connected to the raster chosen when generating the profile.
Can I do it with 3D Analyst toolbar or any geoprocessing tool? I have to stay within the ArcGIS Desktop framework.
