I am installing geonode
for the first time on CentOsS using this document. And have ran into an issue, when I run python manage.py syncdb --noinput
I get the error:

django.db.utils.OperationalError: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
Is the server running locally and accepting
connections on Unix domain socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
The steps seem straightforward, what am I missing? The only thing I did differently than the doc is I specified a remote geoserver instead of a local one but it is on the same network and reachable. What is that error?
Edit :1
Just to check and see if it was a problem with my remote server I also declared the OGC-Server as http://localhost/geoserver/
as the instructions say and the result is the same
