Is there any WMS server where I can see the postal code boundaries around the world (I need it for India)?

Can you clarify, are you after global data or is it just India. Are you looking for a free data service or would a commercial service do? What has your research found so far? – nmtoken Nov 19 '16 at 12:25
  • I need it just for India and to be free data. – Slobodan Nov 19 '16 at 12:27
  • Some raster with this informations is acceptable too. – Slobodan Nov 19 '16 at 14:51

you should edit your question to add further details, not use the comments. – nmtoken Nov 20 '16 at 11:02

I don't know if a free WMS of Indian post codes exists, but judging from the answer to the following related question Seeking shapefile for postal codes/zip codes of India? I think it is unlikely.

You don't say why you want such data, but if you just need some way of uniquely identifying locations in India, available over the web perhaps you could look at alternatives to postcodes such as What3Words

  • I need that for some GIS alalyses. If you know some other data which contain information about postal code that is also good. If I have it I could make some selection by attribute and solve my problem. – Slobodan Nov 20 '16 at 11:15

You should edit your question to add further information about the analysis you want to do. As a WMS provides an image and not raw data, I think you might be quite limited using one for any analysis. – nmtoken Nov 20 '16 at 11:20
  • Sure. My primary idea was to find some wms but now I see that is unpossible... – Slobodan Nov 20 '16 at 11:33
