I have some NDVI Landsat scenes that want to join them by mosaicking (and not creating a big raster out of them all) to do some further raster processing. I am working under ArcGis 10.3. But what I see is that the raster value of mosaicked image at each point changes with the level of zooming. When I zoom in enough, the mosaic image value is the same as the original raster image. But it changes when I zoom out. I tried many configurations of checking/unchecking pyramids, calculating statistics, creating overviews etc., but I always have the same problem.

Does anybody know what is the cause of that?

I am not sure but it may not be a problem in further raster processing, as any raster processing based on mosaic image will be done at the original resolution (for which I guess the values of mosaic image and original raster files will be the same).
