I have a tif file whose gdalinfo provides the above displayed information which is geographically projected and I have to assign Mercator 2SP projection to it. So I created lat.vrt, lon.vrt and data.vrt and removed GCPs from all and inserted geolocation information in data.vrt as suggested in this question Unable to warp HDF5 files. the final command that I used to warp the files is as follows:
gdalwarp -geoloc -t_srs "+proj=merc +a=6378137 +b=6356752.3142 +lat_ts=17.75 +lon_0=75 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +datum=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs" -overwrite PRNS.vrt proj_new.tif
ERROR 1: Line 104: VRTDataset> doesn't have matching VRTDataset>
PRNS.vrt is the vrt file of my data. These are the links to the VRT files. https://drive.google.com/open?id=12agt-N0xMeL_XwpFvv1ZedTwXjIyvmEF -- PRNS.vrt https://drive.google.com/open?id=19uH4XItSIuB_zhuxyxpBGZQuLtauNbKx --lat.vrt https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VOEXrCIMsasN6GrstZMJOIVFSRtmi3p1 --lon.vrt
Can anyone tell how to solve this error?
