Hello I have about 10K polygons for a single layer. Many of these polygons are overlapping. I would like to clip the polygons and either have the overlap merge to one of the polygons or even split in the middle if possible. Please see an example below:

I've used the Clipper Plugin tool which works great, but is very manual, and would like to see if anyone has found a batch process?

  • Is this is what you are looking for gis.stackexchange.com/questions/201668/… – xlDias Aug 14 '18 at 19:15
  • A while ago I saw a question here on GIS stackexchange about evenly splitting overlapping polygons in QGIS. It had a good answer that achieved exactly what you're asking for. I spent about 10 minutes searching without success, but maybe you can find it. – csk Aug 14 '18 at 20:03
