I am trying to find the legs of a tee (off a parent) that meet specific criteria.

I have a network that is made up of varying sizes and materials of pipes, I have been asked to identify all legs of tees that are below a certain length in a certain material.

Can anyone help?

  • What have you tried? – PolyGeo Sep 14 at 12:50
  • Are you asking for something along the lines of a Select by Attributes? For example: SELECT * FROM Tee WHERE: BranchDiameter <= 10? That's where I'd start, unless you are looking for only tees that participate in a geometric network, then there are probably additional steps to take. – Zachary Ordo - GISP Sep 14 at 13:03
  • Also, if you know your data model (such as APDM, UPDM, PODS), that may help provide some context. – Zachary Ordo - GISP Sep 14 at 13:07
