I'm doing a little research of my own regarding super-resolution reconstruction in general and in the context of GIS software.
I'm well aware of pansharpening techniques which became a standard in terms of satellite imagery (I think).
However, I'm wondering, are there any software suites out there utilising a more cutting-edge techniques, like SRR based on machine learning or pansharpening with the use of some form of A.I. to deliver better spacial resolution of the output imagery?
Or perhaps other non-standard techniques delivering promising results?
