I am using QGIS version 3.6 in macOS Mojave, version 10.14. I am trying to fix the topology of a vector layer using the GRASS tool v.clean. The first time it worked well. I forgot to save the resulting layer (I left it as temporary file) and closed the project. Then, when I tried to make the process again, the v.clean tool process a different layer that the one I select. It also happens with any other layer I try to fix using v.clean. The weird thing is that the resulting layer is always the same.

Vector layer I want to fix using v.clean

Wrong layer I always get. This is from the elevation curves layer that I was using in the same project
