I am trying to standardize a daily map that will be produced through Modelbuilder. I can successfully produce a density map from the points. However, I want to go one step further and standardize the symbology to a blue to red color ramp and ideally the first rank is transparent. I am having trouble doing that because the Attribute table does not get created for the density map. I tried converting the raster into a polygon and back but to much fidelity is lost. Creating an ECD might be the way to go but I can't figure out how to do this. I found get Raster properties but none of the fields seem like the right answer. Reclassify Raster can convert the ranks into numbers and if I could join it to a table I could symbology it that way. Unfortunately that seems to be a dead end.

  • Have you tried Apply Symbology from Layer resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#//… ? – Michael Stimson May 2 at 23:49
  • Sorry @Michael Stimson yes that is on my list of tried. The initial output of the density is a stretched raster. So it wouldn't let me connect the two. – Damned_Novice May 3 at 1:25
  • Well I just tried the density layer to make raster layer to apply symbology. It worked. I am at home and only using test data but now I feel like an idiot. This is why I shouldn't work 12 hour days. – Damned_Novice May 3 at 1:34
