For a HTML field in the QGIS Layout Manager I have in the "Source" field a table like:

<table>
  <tr>
    <td>1</td>
    <td>2</td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td>3</td>
    <td>4</td>
  </tr>
</table>

And I'm using the Option "User Stylesheet" with a css like:

table, td {
  border: 1px solid black;
  border-collapse: collapse;
}
td {
  padding: 10px;
  text-align: left;
}

The CSS for the padding for the fields inside a table doesn't work for me in the QGIS (3.4). It's always displayed with no padding. Is there a work around for this problem? I post this here, since the HTML code should be fine, it looks like a QGIS specific problem to me.
