Lock the zoom level of WMS feeds when printing a layout in QGIS 3

This is similar to the following question which was asked 1 years ago and one asked 5 years ago.

Is there now a way to lock the zoom level of a WMS feed in a layout? It's not an XYZ layer so I can't use the strategy mentioned in the above posts.

I want it to show as below

But it always prints at a different scale level.

I have the following settings in the print to pdf setting

The reason is that your screen has much lower resolution (DPI) than the printout. Some WMS servers support an extra parameter, like &DPI= in QGIS server docs.qgis.org/2.14/en/docs/user_manual/working_with_ogc/… – user30184 Aug 7 '19 at 18:51

As @user30184 says some WMS can allow for changes in DPI, I don't think arcgis is one of those though – Ian Turton♦ Aug 8 '19 at 7:09
