As I zoom in and explore a base Google Earth Engine map, or Google Earth Pro map I come across tiles/areas that have better resolution than the next tile. Why is that? Is there a way to get the same close resolution?

The tile I am looking at is zoomed in close with nice detail. The tile next to it is so blurred it is unintelligible. Why?

  • Military facilities have a filter applied, but it could be just luck of the draw w/r/t clouds/coverage. – Vince Nov 2 '19 at 13:22
