I'm pulling open street map data into a geodataframe and looking to write the results to a sql server database. The geometry types are polygon and they are in shapely format. When I attempt to write the entire geodataframe to a sql table using sqlalchemy I get an "unhashable type: 'Polygon'" error. Is there a format I could convert this shapely polygon into that would easily be converted to SQL geometry? Is there a better library to use than sqlalchemy? I can write the results to a shapefile but I want it in SQL Server not a standalone file that would need to be imported.
