Oracle 18c; Portal/ArcGIS Server 10.7.1
I'm considering setting up Portal so that I can edit my on-premise EGDB data in the field using ArcGIS Collector.
As part of this implementation, I would have triggers in the Oracle database that would synhronously integrate the EGDB data with an external system (via Oracle's UTL_HTTP package).
If a record were edited, but failed to sync, the Oracle trigger would return an error message.
If I were editing in ArcMap, then a message would pop up in a dialog and I wouldn't be able to save the record.
But I'm not editing in ArcMap, I'm going to be editing in Collector, so my question is:
Would an Oracle database error pop up in a message box in Collector? And would the user be able to save the record?
