I'm looking for suggestions to help with ingesting JSON (not GeoJSON) data from a third party service into our ArcGIS GeoEvent Server. We're running v10.8 on premise and are having problems extracting location data from a JSON response which resembles this:

[
    {
        docId: someDoc1,
        title: TitleString,
        locations: [
            {
                locationId: location1,
                longitude: 20.000,
                latitude: 20.000
            },
            {
                locationId: location2,
                longitude: 30.000,
                latitude: 30.000
            }
        ]
    },
    {
        ... etc ...
    }
]

The problem is with the multiple grouped locations in each event. Some of the records have one location object while others have as many as 8. Before I go down the road of building a custom processor, I wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and if they were able to solve it with any combination of "out-of-the-box" processors.? .

I'm also willing to entertain the idea that the server is perfectly capable of reading those records and that my problem is somewhere else, but all of my testing points to multiple locations associated with a single event/record. I've confirmed that the records are being handled & published to my featureserver/layers; other fields such as title & docId appear in the table on my map, but no coordinates.
