I am in need of integrating multi-source information on my GIS project. Part of it are normal tables and other content will be images, drawing, videos, PDFs, etc. All tose elements are to be referenced to specific point coordinates and integrated in shapes (geopackages?)
Ideally, the functionality I need is to zoom in to a point (or a shape) and then inspect what is there by, for instance, right click, click on a button, check properties, etc..)
To solve this I reckon that I can have all the tables (currently in MS/ACCESS with links to the multimedia files) in postGres / postGIS and put the multimedia / PDF / etc... content on blob fields. That would be the easy part.
The tricky part is make the information visually accessible by point-and-click on the map.
Is it possible? Is there a tutorial?
