I have a netCDF file with dimensions 'xi' and 'eta', one-dimensional variables 'lon' and 'lat' that provide the coordinates for each grid point, and two-dimensional variables for 'SST' and 'salinity'. I am hoping to use ArcGIS Pro's "Make NetCDF Raster Layer" tool, but there is no way to associate the values stored in 'lon' and 'lat' with the dimensions 'xi' and 'eta'.

I think I may be having a similar problem to Importing NetCDF file to ArcGIS Desktop as point feature layer?, but I wasn't able to understand their explanation of how to get ArcGIS to recognize my 'lon' and 'lat' variables as coordinate variables.

My end goal is to convert the data to a ASCII raster file.
