MapServer picture on specific entity

I'm using MapServer and i need to call MapServer with an URL and locate a specific feature within the GetMap mode (need a picture).

I am getting error while using QString and request=GetMap in the same URL about template with the following URL

mode=ITEMQUERY&QLAYER=layer&QITEM=field&QSTRING=999

How can i get a picture zoomed on a specific feature with a parameterised URL and MapServer ?
