The computer program that I'm working with requires an 8 digit UTM Easting for the coordinates of shapefiles (i.e., the UTM zone number must be included with each coordinate within a shapefile). The program was designed in Europe and considers all of my shapefiles to be extremely far away, due to the two "missing" digits.
I'm using ArcMap 10.1 and also downloaded Quantum GIS, as the individual I'm working with overseas suggested that QGIS could add the UTM zone number to the coordinates. I haven't found any way to do so, so if anyone has any ideas, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks in advance!
