How can I add data from the USGS National Map server to ArcMap Desktop? I think I need to set up an API, but I am not sure how to do this and didn't have any success searching the internet.

Specific goal is to load data and processed products like hillshades from the TNM Download without having to download it locally, make a hillshade, etc.

I tried to add WMS Server (as suggested at similar old question here)but received an error: Failed to connect to the server.

Using ArcMap 10.7 on Windows 10
