Excel to Table Conversion on multiple Excel files in folder using ArcPy gives ERROR 000814
Here is my code:

Excel to Table Conversion on multiple Excel files in folder using ArcPy gives ERROR 000814
I solved the problem actually.
There were two problems:
Slashes in the paths were not accurate.
I needed to get rid of ".dbf" extension for the output of excel to table conversion tool.
