An extension to ArcGIS that allows for the creation, visualization, and analysis of three-dimensional data.
3D Analyst is most commonly used as an extension to ArcGIS for Desktop but it is also available for ArcGIS Engine and ArcGIS for Server.
Its desktop license unlocks two applications (ArcGlobe and ArcScene) as well as many tools.
