Use for questions involving the IDLE Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Python

The IDLE Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is "bundled with the default implementation" of Python. Many GIS professionals will be familiar with it, due to it being shipped as part of the python package that comes with ArcGIS for Desktop & Server.

According to Wikipedia:

IDLE is intended to be a simple IDE and suitable for beginners, especially in an educational environment. To that end, it is cross-platform, and avoids feature clutter.
