I work in the energy exploration, and exploitation industry. I have been doing so for most of my adult life. I travel extensively for work, and work with many different GIS systems depending upon the client, and the data available from Federal, State, and Local authorities. I am a Mapinfo power user, and Mapbasic programmer, as well as being fluent in ArcGis, Global Mapper, GPSeismic, QGIS, Manifold, and database application development. I truly mourn the day that Microsoft abandoned Visual Foxpro.

I am always looking for new tools, software, hardware, and ideas to make the work of the people in my industry easier, and to help then live better lives when they are not working.
