I work for the Environment Agency (England) in the Data Management team. We've recently made over 1500 datasets available on data.gov.uk as part of the #OpenDefra project. My current focus it etl and data integration, however I've been involved in GIS, open data, and am growing my coding experience (Python, Javascript) and working with APIs.

When out of the office I dance, read, and watch the ducks paddle along on the lake near where I live. (And occasionally I do the washing up).

The template suggested I include an inspirational quote. Hmm. Smacks of instagramming avocado on toast if you ask me, but I actually do have a quotation that lives on my desk: "Unfortunately, the human mind finds it easier to believe a lie it's heard a hundred times before than to believe a truth it's hearing for the first time." Keep your mind open, and be gentle with others when they're defensive to change.
