Is it possible to move/translate a raster image in QGIS 2.2 (without using georeferencer) just like it can be done with a shapefile ? If not, alternatively can this be done with ArcGis?

if you need to batch, then it is not manual translation anymore. I would directly change the world file or use gdal and python to modify the origin of the iamge coordinate. What you need seems to be answered here gis.stackexchange.com/questions/13561/…– radouxjuCommented Apr 14, 2014 at 13:14
