I am currently using QGIS 3.10 for my GIS project.
I run first “Check Validity” to see if there were any invalid features, then I used “Fix geometries” to correct them. Surprisingly, after running the tool, some records disappear. They are not the ones that had invalid geometries, apparently there was no error associated to them.
I tried also v.clear in GRASS but the output is the same.
In the attachment there is a screenshot. In green there are the records that are excluded, consequently in purple there is the output of the fix geometries operation.

That layer was created by merging three different layers. The original RS was 3003, then I worked with 32633. If I try to select a green feature with "identify feature", it does not work. I can only select it in the attribute table.
